Pragmatic Applications of Health Informatics in Major Healthcare Organizations

Panel moderator: Jessica S Ancker, MPH, PhD, Weill Cornell Medical College

Informatics leadership from many of New York City's leading hospitals will present projects and infrastructures that are allowing healthcare organizations to maximally leverage their own healthcare data. These will include operational uses of predictive analytics, ways to apply newly generated evidence to learning healthcare systems, and informatics infrastructure needs in healthcare. Participants will also have an opportunity to ask these leaders where applied health informatics is likely to go in the near future, and find out about informatics opportunities and barriers to success.
