Division Mission

  • Conduct research to improve quality and value in healthcare:
    • Applied research on use and effect of information technology in healthcare and the intelligent use of data to inform healthcare policy and decision making.
    • Basic research on development of new information technologies and informatics methods.
  • Deliver educational programs in informatics to wide range of trainees: Master's students, medical students, postdoctoral fellows,
  • Provide service, consulting and collaboration with other divisions, departments and partner organizations.
  • Develop innovation through technology transfer and industrial collaboration.
