Certificate Program in Health Information Technology


The Certificate Program in Health Information Technology is a program of the Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences (WCGS).

Applications for Fall 2014 are no longer being accepted.

Applications for Fall 2015 admission will be opened in Fall 2014.

Overview

Health information technology, including electronic health records, is a top national priority to improve healthcare delivery, reduce medical errors, improve care coordination and efficiency, engage patients in their own health care, and serve public health. The Weill Cornell Certificate Program in Health Information Technology prepares students for careers at the intersection of health and information technology, in clinical settings, public health, industry or government. This program utilizes a combination of in person class sessions and online materials.
