Residencies & Fellowships

The Empire Clinical Research Investigator Program

The Empire Clinical Research Investigator Program (ECRIP) trains fellows in advanced health services research methodology and prepares them to be leaders in academic medicine. Fellows are typically physicians who have completed a clinical residency and/or have or are concurrently completing a master's degree (in healthcare policy, clinical investigation, clinical epidemiology or biomedical informatics).

Residency in Public Health and General Preventative Medicine

The Department of Healthcare Policy & Research offers a two-year ACGME-accredited Residency in Public Health and General Preventive Medicine program that strives to produce leaders in modern public health, either to pursue careers in academia, healthcare policy or advocacy. The ideal candidate for this program is a residency program graduate who is looking for additional training in preventive medicine (i.e., in Pediatrics, Medicine, or Surgery).
