Curriculum

The Executive MBA/MS program at Cornell University awards two degrees in two years: an MBA from the SC Johnson College of Business and an MS in Healthcare Leadership from the Department of Population Health Sciences at the Weill Cornell Graduate School to provide a business breadth with a healthcare depth.

The curriculum includes core courses for both the MBA and MS, electives, and a capstone project for a total of 60 credits.

The capstone project, consisting of small teams of students working with a faculty advisor, will integrate core academic knowledge as it applies to challenges in real-world settings. Clients and projects change each year, but organizations represented often include:

  • Biotech companies
  • Pharmaceutical companies
  • Startups
  • Hospital systems
  • Community health organizations
