The Division of Biostatistics is currently accepting applications for the Biostatistics Summer Internship Program.
This paid internship is targeted towards underrepresented undergraduate students who are interested in data analysis and passionate about improving healthcare access and outcomes. Over the course of the seven-week internship (6/9/24-7/31/24), students will complete a project analyzing data to answer a real-world public health research question. Additionally, they will have access to weekly lectures on hot topics in healthcare data analysis, as well as a biostatistician mentor to provide career development support.
Preferred qualifications include at least one year of undergraduate study completed (entering sophomore year or above) with some statistics and R coding experience.
